Monday’s “Bachelorette Reunion Special” gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of of the franchise.

The top 5 things we learned:

1. Rose ceremonies aren’t quite as glamorous behind-the-scenes

Before JoJo Fletcher became Season 12’s Bachelorette, she was a runner-up on Ben Higgins‘ season of “The Bachelor.” Things got off to a rough start for Fletcher, who revealed she got sick and “projectile vomited” at a hotel after filming her first rose ceremony — a night notorious for often lasting until the sun comes up.

“It was really gross,” Fletcher recalled. “I’m going up the stairs and I just start projectile vomiting because of pure exhaustion. I’m just vomiting over this ledge, and everyone thinks I’m hammered.”

2. Contestants dish about what really went down on those fantasy-suite dates

Former Bachelorettes spilled the tea on the most mysterious part of every season: the overnight fantasy-suite dates, which mark the first time the lead can spend real alone time with her date with no cameras or producers.

Each star spends their time differently: Last year’s Becca Kufrin said she and her now-fiance Garrett Yrigoyen broke their bed. (“Sorry, mom!”)

Rachel Lindsay (“Bachelorette” Season 13) on the other hand, spent her “Bachelor” fantasy suite with Nick Viall a little differently: She said she “passed out” early in the evening.

“It’s set up to be this romantic, passionate evening, but for me, it was where I got my best night’s sleep,” Lindsay said.

3. ‘Bachelorette’ wedding bells will ring again soon

“The Bachelorette” continues its streak of bringing more contestants to the altar than its “Bachelor” counterpart: Lindsay announced to a bridal shower full of franchise favorites that she’s getting married in the Caribbean this August.

Cameras also followed along as she and fiance Bryan Abasolo went ring shopping — where else? — at Neil Lane.

4. Former Bachelor Ben Higgins doesn’t regret saying ‘I love you’ to two women

Season 20 Bachelor Ben Higgins made franchise history when he told both of his finalists (Fletcher and winner Lauren Bushnell) that he loved them, a franchise no-no until the final rose. Higgins and Bushnell have since broken up, but he revealed he has no regrets.

“This is a crazy experience,” Higgins said of the filming process. “I loved them both. I still to this day care about them both. For me, it was only right to explain how I felt. It was a big deal whenever ‘love’ was said, which it should be. It was scary, it was weird. Again, I don’t know if it was wise. But I did it and even to this day, I’m glad I did.”

5. There’s a lot of dating around, both onscreen and off

Each Bachelorette got her start as a contestant on “The Bachelor” — and a few Bachelor contestants, in turn, started on “The Bachelorette,” which means there’s a fair amount of crossover in the dating pool. The women joked during their reunion about how many of them have dated Viall, who twice became a finalist on “The Bachelorette” before a stint on “Bachelor in Paradise” and then a starring role on “The Bachelor.”

Season 11 Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe is now dating another member of the crew: Jason Tartick, who finished third on Kufrin’s season of “The Bachelorette.” Don’t worry, there’s no ill will between the former Bachelorettes: Bristowe said she reached out to Kufrin to make sure she was OK with it.
